    nerf bars, bed cover, husky liners, Icon coilovers, LR UCA, rear 5100s, TSB AAL, diff drop, carrier baring drop, axel shims, AFE pro dry filter, BHLM, mesh grill, Black emblems,
    just cut them and order a set of new bolts for $25....saves a lot of time and labor.

    broken mods
    i bought a new bolt and nut from toyota for like $11 and i did not have to use it.....
    i wanted it just in case... and it was alot easier than what i was expecting.......follow chriss 4x4 post in the how to except dont bend the brake line tab......
    or cut hem either or............. its a piece of cake

    It's really not that complicated. You bend a small area for the head/washer to pass by, not the whole side or anything. Or you cut them. Personally it looked to be more of an issue to get the dremel in a good position to cut them than it was to just bend a little metal. I started out with cutting them in mind based on the posts here but found the bending to be the lesser of the evils. Also looked like more mess to put the bolts in backwards pass the brake/fuel lines than just putting them back in the way they were. Mine went back the same way they came out. Either way, just do it.........

    I'm curious to know how the shop installed them without bending or cutting, that's what I'd most like to know. I'm thinking about installing myself but may consider my local trusted shop down the way.

    sorry guys...i haven't been able to call the shop. My wife had our 3rd baby yesterday and I've been a tinsy bit busy...i'll ask them this weekend.

    if you looked at my truck you would never even know that i bend the tab over a lil i bent it right back when finished and i installed the bolts back the way they came out.....
