Just thought I'd put this out there to see if anyone else experiences the same thing. I've researched a little bit and haven't found a similar story.

Occasionally in third, and ALWAYS in fifth gear, there's an incessant buzzing/rattling that seems to come from the gear shift. I've cleaned and gutted the console to the point that it's practically brand new, thinking maybe it was some change, a cell phone, etc., but it's definitely coming from the truck, not my loose belongings. Anyone else experience the same thing? If I'm in 1st, 2nd, 4th or 6th, not a peep. That said, unless I turn the tunes up fairly loudly, it's noticable. I haven't seen a TSB out on something like this, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had the same thing happen. 20,000 miles in....

its a common problem and easily solved, do a search for buzz ad youll find it.
or take 3 nylon zip ties and wrap them thightly around the large bundle of wired covered in a black sheath under the glove box. they run between the blower motor and a bracket ont eh kick panel.
you will find the buzz happens about 1500-2000 rpm. thoes thoes wires tightly and it will go away perminantly. i also added a 4th strap to tie it to the bracket it runs next to so it cant move.
