I have the complete intake removed from my 2000 3rz and have decided that it's a good time to replenish my injectors. At first, I thought I would just send them to InjectorRX and let them clean and flow test them. But then a fellow board member suggested some "pink tops" for better flow and spray pattern. I've researched pink tops and don't really find much info. According to my VIN, my injectors are 23209-79095. If someone can confirm pink top part numbers, that would be great.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thanks.

    Option 1:
I found these on Ebay that claim to be genuine Denso 23209-79095 plugs at a great price. I'm a bit concerned about them being so cheap and I won't benefit from the improved flow of the new injector:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-4x-Fue...ash=item3ad5264f6b:g:QcQAAOSw6DtYWhiu&vxp=mtr

    Option 2:
I see some injectors on Ebay that are OEM pink tops and show to work with my motor, but they look taller and I'm concerned that the mounting for the fuel rails wont work. The numbers on them also lead me to believe that they are the Cali versions. Here's the link:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Fuel-Injectors-For-Toyota-4Runner-Tacoma-2-7-2-4-L4-23209-79135-23250-75080/202079113477?fits=Model:Tacoma&hash=item2f0cda9105:g:eek:J0AAOSwLnBX3K58&vxp=mtr

    Option 3:
Send my OEM injectors to InjectorRX and have them cleaned/flow tested. Safe bet, but I'd be missing out on the upgraded flow pattern.

I have a set of pink tops, you can find them in 01-04 3RZ and 2RZ engines, they have an improved spray pattern and higher flow potential. Still need to get mine cleaned and flow tested though. Pink tops are skinnier but they are dimensionally the same height after o ring and such are on.

Ah, so they will really just plug in and the rails bolt right on then? They just look like they are taller?

I've heard that a set can be purchased for ~$100 but haven't seen any quite that low.

They're out there, I got mine for $50 shipped. Look at the part outs in the Buy Sell and Trade threads, lots of people part out rather than fix the 4cyl trucks, so it isn't hard to get them.

It looks like the pink top numbers are 23250-75080 or 23209-75135. Here's two pink top choices from Ebay:

These are shown sitting on OEM boxes but the injectors themselves look just like some that are from China. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Fuel-I...ash=item2f0cda9105:g:eek:J0AAOSwLnBX3K58&vxp=mtr

Ironically, these are pretty cheap but have an OEM part number (23209-75080)on them but are listed as "unbranded".
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/4pcs-OEM-N...ash=item3ad5fd4305:g:izgAAOSwa~BYYhfV&vxp=mtr

Heck, here's another set of (4) listed as OEM for $60.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/4pcs-OEM-New-Fuel-Injector-For-Toyota-4Runner-Tacoma-2-7-2-4-L4-23209-79135/291850261695?fits=Year:2000|Make:Toyota|Model:Tacoma&epid=1580885657&hash=item43f3a194bf:g:fPQAAOSwHoFXtrLm&vxp=mtr

Not really sure which ones are good other than the ones from the online dealer that would cost ~$500 for the set. I will go ahead and say that I'm not willing to do that. I'll send mine and have them cleaned and flow tested before I spend that kind of money.

These have to be the widest range of part I've ever seen on a vehicle.... maybe on anything. I've seen prices ranging from less than $15 each($50 for 4) all the way up to over $200 each.

I'd seriously just get a set from a wreck because then you know they're OEM (low failure rate so people never really have to replace them), then Mr. Injector or Witch Hunter can clean and flow em.

Makes sense to me. I wish I had a junk yard nearby. I'll check around.
That's good to know. Thank for sharing.

You could also look at the Osidetiger 330cc injectors as well. They are pretty close in flow rate to the pink tops and should also be PNP as well. They cost a little more than some of the eBay ones at $150+shipping. If you choose these, make sure you get the 330cc saturated so they are higher impedance like your stock ones.

The injectors on ebay seem sketchy. 'Genuine' what?

I'm supercharged I need to find injectors with more flow. My motor starves for fuel if I get into high rpms.
Looking for maybe N/A Supra injectors. Just something with a little more than stock should help

I'm fine with paying $150 for injectors that are good quality. I appreciate the link and suggestion. If folks can vouch for them then I'd consider doing that.

    Seems sketchy to me too.

I'm leaning toward ordering the ones off Ebay that are sitting on top of the OEM boxes. I'm in communications with the seller trying to verifying OEM.

There seems to be two different looks to the pink tops. One has "Aisan"(I think its what it says) on them like these:
    images_d8d390361cfb8f4666c1ceb58ffd0849b0d276bc.jpg

The other has a part numbers "23250-75080" or "23209-75135" on them:
