So i'm having some major issues with my truck. I think they are all electrical. Some background first. My truck got broken into 2 or 3 weeks ago and they tried taking the stereo, but instead mangled the dash. I had to replace the whole dash. I got an aftermarket alarm installed by a local company as hope to prevent and future problems.

Today I'm driving around during lunch. Get out and turn off my truck for all of 10 seconds and I get back in and it won't start. The dash lights aren't coming on when I turn the key. I eventually get it push started and it seems to be running fine, but my radio starts going off whenever I hit the breaks. So I got home and disconnect the stereo (including power cable connected to battery for my amps) and it still wouldn't start. I again push started it and I went to Autozone and had them test the battery and it was fine. I was able to start the truck up with no issues this time. I have no radio and the amps are disconnected.

My buddy who helped me work on the truck (replace the dash) says he thinks it might be from the alarm that was installed. I think it might be the amps having issues draining the battery, but I feel like it should recharge while the car was running.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be or any suggestions on what to do problem shoot my problem?
