    Ok so i have a 12" pioneer premier sub with 400rms and a 10" shallow sub with 250rms. I was looking at the GM-D7400M which is a mono amp from pionner that has
    CEA2006 Specifications:
    400 Watts x 1, at 2 ohms <= 1% THD+N
    200 Watts x 1, at 2 ohms <= 1% THD+N
    80 dBA Signal-to-Noise Ratio (Reference: 1 Watt Output)

    can this support both of the subs that i have even though one is 200 watts rather than 250???

    Are you planning on running both subs at the same time using that amp? (if so I wouldn't recommend non matching subs on the same mono amp). In any case the specs you posted for the amp are incorrect and I'm guessing it should be 200 watts at "4" ohms or 400 watts at "2" ohms. :confused: Also, what are the voice coil configurations of each sub? (if you'd like you can just post links to the specs for each sub as well as the amp and I'll check it out for you)

    Unfortunately my family and I had so many misfortunes over the last year (most recently a bee infestation INSIDE my house :eek:) and I have been extremely overwhelmed however things are slowly getting back to normal so I'll come around more often! :)

    Either one of those subs will work on that amp and to get get the full potential from the 12 you should get the D4 so you can wire it at 2 ohms. BTW, that Pioneer/Premier site has some of the specs goofed up on several items I have seen recently including that amp and the 12" sub! :eek:

    ok first of all pioneer is good and all but personally i wouldn own anything but there hu.... and i would definately not mix match subs on the same amp seeins how its rare that subs have the exact same ohm load and the gain will never be set right and if i were buying a amp i would look on ebay at the hifonics brutus series very nice for the price
