HELP ignition switch jammed

    ok so i put my key into the ignition and it turns half way just enough to get the radio goin and then it stops almost as if it is catching on something solid anyone have suggestions on how to take it apart and possible fix it myself and save some cash?...:confused:

    Turn your steering wheel slightly while turning your key. The wheel lock is probably holding things in place.

    Wait, it turns to the Run position but not to Start? That's definitely odd. Someone else might have some ideas.

    ya it gets half way its not cause the steering wheel is locked something is actually wrong with it

    i have everything taken apart and im trying 2 avoid dismanteling it because i might not be able 2 put it back 2 gether
