I purchased this roof rack off of craigslist for pretty cheap, but had to by the extender for it because it wasn't quite long enough to reach the cross bars. Well got the extender in put it together and put it on. It is a little long, but I am not sure if I like it or not. I was looking to see what other people thought about it. I haven't put the bug shield on it yet.

I like that look a lot. Would look sick with some lights on the front, a shovel mounted on one side, and then a hi-lift mounted on the other side. Oh, and then on the back, put a set of lights to blind mother fuckers that are tailgating you. :D

Yeah I thought about getting some lights, but I'm not sure yet. If I do I would want to be able to take the whole set up on and off pretty easily as I think that the wind noise would bug me sometimes.

I love the look. Wouldn't mind copying and doing the same thing eventually. I would put at least four lights up there.
How is it for wind noise?

I like the basket. Not sure about having it on top though. I've seen some with the basket over the bed. I like that better. Just depends on how you use the bed. It may not be worth it to move it there. It def needs to be accessorized.

I think if you could make it shorter (not hang over windshield) and mount the lights and a fairing (like below) you'll really have a sick set up
