Help Locating a Tacoma

Hello I had posted awhile ago in hopes of finding a red TRD sport. Sadly here on the west coast I have had no luck it seems like there are a ton of them on the east coast. Does anyone know if it would be possible for a dealer to get one here to CA or does anyone work at a dealer who is willing to do so for me?

What year, miles, options, 4wd? are you looking for?

 

I am looking for a brand new 2015 TRD Sport long bed. I would prefer a prerunner but I am open to a 4wd.

 

Where you at OP? There are PLENTY in WA

One way flight and road trip back. I've done it to Cali and drove back to WA. Or negotiate with your dealer to have the truck shipped to your local dealer.

Just looked on cars.com and had 67 2015s come up at Colorado Front Range dealers

 

I found mine on cars.com. you can type in every option you are looking for right down to the color, and only that exact vehicle will come up in the search results. I specifically wanted a 2009 or 2010, silver access cab 4x4 trd sport or offroad, automatic. I went over 100 miles to get my truck.

 

I can't believe your local dealer can't have one brought in from another dealership??

My last one was driven in from 500 miles away on a dealer swap.

 

Found mine on AutoTrader. One way flight and the 1400 mile trip back home got me familiar with the truck so I don't freak out in traffic.

My Dealer just went about 400 Miles to trailer back the Tacoma I wanted.

 

A new red TRD sport is a hard truck to find. I found this one, though it is a DCLB. Checking Toyota's site, they don't list any new DCSB Red TRD sports in inventory at any dealers, though I'm not sure how accurate that is. I'm not sure which configuration you are looking for. If you find what you want you better jump on it, I'm sure production has switched over to the 2016s by now.

According to buyatoyota.com, there are only 2 red in the area. Showing a double cab sport MSRP $30,4xx which should be a pre-runner. Other one is $34k which is 4x4 and not sure if it's sport or OR.

buyatoyota is what I used to find my truck. I just went through all the immediate dealership website in the area (I think it does a 50 mile search) and found the color I wanted 28 miles away and purchased from that dealership instead of having my local dealer locate one for me.

Yes. The one I linked above for you was a red long bed TRD sport though. You can also use autotrader. However these 3rd party tools require the dealer to advertise on that site, so because it doesn't show up doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just the dealer didn't list it there.

 

Of course not, they want to sell you what they have in their lot. You can contact Charlie Ellison or Dan Duddridge at Cabe Toyota and they will help you out or Kevin Thompkins or Rick Burgess at Norwalk Toyota. I've dealt with them in the past and they tracked down exactly what I wanted.

 

Cars.com is what I used to find the truck I wanted, printed it off and took it into my local Dealer and they got one.
