Hey LtTaco... did you notice that some of your fuses are upside down..... You better correct that....the 10 amp and up do not operate properly if upside down....

    So I've been told anyway..

Not that I've ever heard about anyways. That's the way they came from the factory. I'm not taking them out just so the writing is all turned the same direction. ...

Of course which way the fuse goes in doesn't matter, so I looked at mine and they are the SAME ... right side up and some flipped upside down! Then the OCD side of me took over ......... argh ....why are they not all facing the same way, someone must have been laying upside down on the seat when they installed them at the factory .......

    :annoyed:

So I just went outside, and I thought ...... hmm MR OCD in me ...... I will just like quickly switch them around ... that way if I ever need to change one I won't have to stand on my head to read the amperage (LOL), but then I thought .... oh sure .. it will reset the stupid PCM or other computer and I will have to reset the radio and other ridiculous stuff .... ALL because I want them facing the right way ...... how ridiculous is that? So the answer is NO I will not switch them out ....... but probably at 2:30am tomorrow morning ... when I haven't slept because I was thinking about them ... I will have to go out and switch in the middle of the night so I can get it out of my mind!!!! Who knows maybe I will take it to Toyota one day for some problem and they will tell me that they have to order a special fuse called an 0E fuse, and my truck will be in the shop for 2 days waiting for the part, and here I will come to find out that the OE fuse is actually a 30 amp fuse installed upside down ........ LOL ...... argh ... I hate the OCD stuff!

Do you need to know, or care?
I'm confused, are the last 2 fuses a 02 amp fuse or a 20 amp fuse and what's an OE fuse? Lid says 20 amps but installed 02 amp fuse. Also see 5L fuses, are those for the left side of the truck? These Gen3's are gettin' worse every day. :)

Ok that's funny. I might recycle that joke.

I feel the same way about OP asking simple questions, but this thread came up when I searched for what size fuses are located in this fuse box, so this thread could have been a little more useful. I took a clearer picture of the driver side below dash fuse box (junction box) cover and a picture of a fuse laying on its side. I'm not sure why Toyota made it difficult to open this cover...you do need to insert a little flathead screwdriver or something in that rectangular "hole" on the end. It's easy but not obvious.

There's NO fuse puller in this box. Just use needle nosed pliers to grab and pull straight out. These particular fuses match the shape and size of the "low profile mini fuse" shown here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuse_(automotive)

I ended up figuring it out. Also, I used the fuse puller in the relay box under the hood. It worked.

Thanks LTTaco and FeraNatura for this. I had the same issue (and admittedly I'm underwhelmed with the LED lights - I expected super brightness but not so).
