Help me choose a bumper

Okay, so I am torn between a brute force hybrid bumper and an elite bumper. One of these will be my bumper, but I'm not sure which one is best. I really like the look of the hybrid, but I'm not sure about a tube bumper on my truck. I like the look of the elite too. Only thing I don't like about the hybrid is how it's higher than the elite and you can see a lot behind the whole bumper. Plus I want one for really good protection. Mainly against deer. lol. It's just the elite is a very good possibility, but I like the look of the hybrid a lot.

I've seen an Elite in person, it was very stout and good looking, he had it made out of alumium, but it was plenty strong and i imagine steel will be super tough, Nothing but good stuff from Brute force fab as well so you cant go wrong with either.

 

for a non-LT suspension truck… i think the elite type bumpers look the best.
if you were going LT… I'd suggest KR's bumper…. they're sick as F***

True. It's mainly about looks and plate or tube.

 

KR is sweet! My truck will never be LT though.. No point for LT here.

 

I'd say go with the Elite man

Yeah even mid-travel (normal stance) looks good with KR's but they're specialty is the LT stuff

Are you set on Elite as your bumper? or have you checked out all the options?

 

Out of all plates, yes. Elite is my definite plate option. ALL bumpers, not sure.

 

oh this one..... ill find a picture where i completed it with the upper hoop and side supports... i mean down to the angles and diameters of those tubes... that is my design. plain and simple.... damn do i love thieves...

There aren't plates where the tubes are on top of the hybrid like that one. When did you design it?

 

little different doesnt constitute dropping the holes in the plate work in a few different shapes and locations. to completely rip off the shape and design of another fabricator is just a little low rent in my opinion.... i guess they have to keep their doors open somehow.

as far as the design, it has been in production for well over a year now.

either way... as far as your main question is concerned... the hybrid styles do look better on a long travel truck whereas the plate versions look better on a rock / mud style rig.

 

Yeah, hybrid has been around longer than that.

 

I just purchased a front plate and rear bumper from Billy at Brute Force he made custom for me doing whatever I asked him to do on the build. It turned out great and even better than I had thought it could be. Stick with Billy and Brute Force you will not be let down and you will be more than satisfied as a matter of fact you wil be amazed at his work.

 

sir... i can assure you it was not as i had to develop that design at the request of a custom application for a customer. the point can be argued any way you or any others would like, plain and simple is no product was on the market at the time i created it which is why the customer came to us in the first place. truth is all that matters.

Go for the full plate, Im waiting on my full plate front and HC rear from Billy now, hopefully have before end of the year
