Thankyou for mentioning that. I had a lift block and it sucked, I would never do it again!

Spindles!!!!!!! I wish i could have ran them. Best way to run 35's! I believe if you went 3" and 33's you'd regret it and want to go higher! and why not run 315/70/17 duratracs?

I say spindles but unless you get your cab mount seriously chopped and get fiberglass fenders with 2.5" or more of preload you will rub the crap out of 315s. Pm sabre. He has spindles and 2.5" of lift with 315s and rubs a buttload. I say get 295s or maybe 305s

im running spindles and 315's...your going to rub like shit so you will having to either get a wheel spacer or something to fix the issue.

and when i say rub i dont mean the cab mount, i mean the inside of the fender area. also might want to go ahead and add the fact that you will probably have to go with glass fenders as well or do a lot of trimming to the factory fenders.

One of the only advantages that PreRunner has over 4x4 is spindle lift.
    Utilize it.

Spindle lift.....I actually just traded in a 4x4 and got a prerunner to lift. I did not want the hassle of having vibes after a lift which seems to happen SO often.
Also, I never go off raod.

Anyway, I would highly recomend you look at the CST spindles.
Much nicer than Camburg as you dont need to replace the front brake lines and they utilize your factory sway bar........check them out in this link......

This is the way Im going to go.

I'm pretty sure no matter what spindle you pick you'll have to use extended brake lines, your moving the brakes 3.5"-4" down, stock brake lines don't have that much extra slack in them. As for the sway bar, Camburg makes a spindle that allows you to use the factory sway bar, I know this because I have them.

Yeah you need longer brake lines for sure
Camburg makes spindles with a hole drilled for the sway bar. That's what I have but I just don't put the sway bar on

Guys - seriously............READ the info below.
As I said, a member installed the CST spindles and CONFIRMED, NO NEED to replace brake hoses

"CST also includes a set of brake hose relocation brackets that retains the factory front brake hoses. Front brake hose replacement is NOT require and that means installation is easier (no brake bleeding required!). Like all CST Fabricated Spindles this Tacoma 3.5" lift spindle is built to withstand extreme on and off-road use. Built from laser cut and CNC machined steel, this CST Fabricated is stronger and lighter than a cast iron version and is covered by the CST Limited Lifetime Warranty".

Hm that's cool but I would still replace them, it all depends on the type of shocks you run as well. Either way I'm sure it's a tight fit. With the camburg spindles and SAW coilovers, brake lines are a must. Plus I would rather know I have some slack on my lines rather than pushing stock ones to the limit. Even tho CST claims you dont need to its Better to be safe than sorry man:cool:
Every other spindle requires longer brake. Sure camburg is 4" and CST is 3.5 but total chaos is 3.5 as well and they say to get longer brake lines so I don't get it.

Yeah me either. I edited my post because TC makes 3.5" spindles and require them so this doesn't make sense. OP, my advice, just get longer ones, specially if your running UCAs and coilovers

Man, to each his own.........why do something you dont need to do..... If the mfgr says they work with stock brake hoses, I'd just leave them...... Do you really think they would open themselves up to the liability of the whole situation if they were not proven to work with original brake hoses? I think not!

But hey, if you want to spend extra money and time for nothing, why not?
