Sorry for the hijack, but it doesn't really deserve an entire new topic.

Where is this sunglass holder I hear about? Is there one on a 2017 DCLB TRD OR???

If you have a manual transmission then you have one in the overhead console.

I had a rattle in the dash in front of the passenger seat. It ended up being the dash rubbing on the firewall where a piece of foam had not been installed right or had moved. It was the same way, would only happen when going over bumps.

I have a 2nd gen, but sometimes my rear fender liners rattle.. It's like a plastic milk carton full of small rocks inside of a dryer.. My point is to check everything, grab it and move it. Some times it's the stupidest little things that make a ton of noise

dfor a long time about a truck.
Is this what I'm hearing?? Had the truck a week and it has just 500 kms on it and I just noticed this rattle yesterday. I can see where it'll drive me bananas if I don't take care of it. How did you fix this?

(this is a great forum, by the way)

To fix that dash rattle. Get some felt and roll it up small and shove it between the dash and firewall. That should take od the rattle. Might have to do 3or 4 small rolls of felt because they dash is held in with clips guide pins.

First thing first if you can't figure out what it is take out everything that's just laying around. Change, phone charger, stuff in glove box, center console, doors. That will atleast eliminate anything that isn't factory that can cause noise. You'd be surprised what can make noise. How loud is the noise? Seen a few loose body bolts/bad body mount bushings on this trucks making some noise hitting the frame

Tried that and they are good to go. Tomorrow I'm going to switch out the headrests and make sure the rear seat belts are secured. If that doesn't work I'm going to start trying the rest of the suggestions such as taking things out and slowly putting them back in. I am also going to check the spare tire. Lots of great suggestions/ideas from all!

The noise literally sound like the front passenger seat is rattling right beside me but it's not. It's not like a loud outside clunking but like a seat rattling. I bet I have checked the front passenger and rear seats dozens of times.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Here's another thing to check. When i pulled my entire interior to dynamat, I found one of the bolts holding the rear center console in place was not installed and I could rock it side to side. You can check this by moving both seats all the way forward. Then lean them against the dash. If you can move the rear of the console side to side easily, One is lose or missing.

Sorry if you tried this I skimmed. Remove the passenger seat and drive it. My door rubbers stick from time to time and make clicking noises endlessly. almost 90% of my kms are off road so ive given up. everything clicks and rattles in my interior. Something fall under the carpet under the seat? some have a cut for the rear heat vents that shit can fall in. My keys went in there on my gfs accent.

There is a rattle that comes from the dash area. Where the pillar meets the dash. Some sick a tooth pick in there and that works. I had it happen to me. I took apart the tweeter cover and put more foam on that. Also I notice the side of the dash piece behind the door had some rub marks. So I through some foam on that as well. I haven't heard it since but it mainly was doing it when it was colder out for me. Some claim it's a connector under the tweeter and I remember another saying a a connector behind the dash/glovebox area was ratting around too. Not sure if it's possible that this is the same rattle you are having but might give you an area to explore

I've got one for ya, I was having a similar experience (and still am). Mine is coming from something loose above the headliner. It's worse when the sun roof cover is open. I can reproduce it by tapping around the headliner in the middle in between the sun roof and rear map light. I can go over semi rough terrain and push up on the headliner and it will stop.
