So, I have one of these for my ipad.

The only negative is that it blocks the back up camera screen. I use Google maps and Pandora on the ipad so I never need to see the radio other than for the back up camera. What I would like to do is connect the backup camera to my ipad. It would also be nice to make it a back up camera anytime type unit too. Does anybody know of a way to make this happen? I have searched the Google and don't find anything specific to Tacomas.

I'd start by looking through crutchfield, or call them. Or if you have a good car stereo installer, ask them.

Likely the easiest and cheapest option you have to make this work is to buy a wireless backup camera. There's no way you can easily do this with a factory camera that works off 6V and hardwired to the radio.
