    Ok guys I have a pioneer 4300 hu ... I want to upgrade my speakers ... I'm willing to spend up to 1000 bucks what amp and what components should I buy I like music loud and with a Lil bass .. I no the doors are 6-1/2 speakers so that works for me I guess or you have a diff options ... 09 taco dble cab thanks ...

    I think first you have to define how you like to hear your music. Some people prefer the sharpest, but in your face sound from metal dome tweeters. Others like the more laid back sound in silk dome tweeters.

    Will you be doing the install & buying off the 'net, or are we talking retail with the dealer doing the install.

    Do you prefer a well know brand (that can still sound good high-end Alpine comes to mind) or are you more likely to seek out niche markets like Hybrid Audio run by a multi-time national sound quality champion?

    What's a little bass? Does that mean you want it to sound like the average home stereo unit (not home theater with a sub), or do you want enough bass so people know you have a subwoofer.

    BTW, I believe the front doors are 6X9 and will require a baffle plate to change over to 6.5".

    look into the JL audio. they have some really solid stuff for the price.

    Ok let me put it in easy terms .. I'm a 70% rap music person. What the best sound to reaplace the door speakers with components with amps ??
