    Some Stuff...
After quite some time; and a few weeks of lurking around on here. I have returned to TW! Fully knowing my bank account will never be the same, I am prepared to make the sacrifice in order to obtain the truck I always wanted. With that being said....

I am torn between which areas of my build I should power into first.. This is mostly because I have a set budget ATM, I will be relocating to Alaska in the next 6 months (after winter) and am concerned what I will have to pay for shipping on a lot of these parts to Alaska.. I do know I would rather buy all my armor now.. but cannot ad the weight of bumpers, sliders, and road armor on the stock suspension set up. So I figured that area is out the door.

Lift/ Wheels / Tires? (Most practical choice?)
    Total Chaos +2" LT Kit
    King Rem. Resi.
    King BS
    SCS Ray10 Bronze 17"
    GY MTR 33" Tires

    Armor?
    Pelfreybilt..
    Front bumper
Rear bumper (Id like the H/C one but am too scared to chop my bed up, in case i get hit or change my mind down the road.. :-(
    Sliders
    COMPLETE Under Armor Skids
Plus all the bells and whistles to boot (Lights, Winches, etc. )

    Performance?
    Regear
    URD Headers
    Undecided Brand* Y Pipe
    Magnaflow muffler?
    Undecided Brand* CAI or Snorkel?
    Maybe a MAF Calibrator...
    Scanguage..

    Other misc items...
Lockers, OBA, TRD PRO Grille, Leer Camper, etc. the list goes on and on.. Honestly I really liked AaronArf's build and would like to immolate it..

Any thoughts or opinions would be great. Ill ad pics later today of how the truck currently sits.

Suspension wheels and tires will be nearly $7k.

90% of the list won't get touched.

You want to kill or offer his build as sacrifice by burning, or you want to emulate it?
Just kidding, congrats on the impending mods, I hope you get to do at least 90% of them. Let us know, with pics!!

Tough one... since you are worried about shipping costs then I guess you for for the heaviest or largest items first right? Bumpers, sliders, leaf springs, wheels and tires. Not researching all the prices on what you want I can say I did my suspension and wheels/tires for a little over 4K. So that leaves the rest for bumpers and sliders. Saying that it looks like your wish list is a lot bigger than your budget. Good Luck. You are in a position that a lot of people would want to be in. :D

You can do an OME lift, LR UCA's, and regear with lockers through ECGS, for around $7K. As long as you install the diffs yourself.

    That's my setup.

I would spend at least half that on guns and ammo, then the rest on the truck...but thats just me.

It's too bad you just missed the super charger group buy. You would have had a lot of left over spending $$ still for more mods :D

Lmao guys, the supercharger would be plenty of fun. I'm at 70k miles though.. Not really sure if I would want to go adding one at this stage in the motors life.

Also.. The build will be over quite a few years I'm sure. I was really just undecided what I should tackle first.. Or begin working towards. Yea?

Also, this is play money. I am plenty old enough to understand the importance of a retirement fund. Got the Roth IRA, TSP, And some additional LI and brokerage accounts. Thanks for the concern though ;)

The complete suspension will be much more than 7k... But if I can purchase items that will not need replacing as I continually add to my build then I'll be happy. I'd rather do it right than do it twice.

The fun of this project/ hobby is going to be piecing it together over time. But for now. I got some holes burnt into my pockets :-D

I'm leaning towards getting the wheels and tires which will run me upwards of 2k... And perhaps the king lift kit below.. Any thoughts or experience with this?

    https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...yota-tacoma/?gclid=CKnUzbrw888CFQKDaQodVwAHaQ

I know it'll run me 4k+ with adjustable shocks. And I'm not a fan of the AAL. But hey.. An upgrade is an upgrade... My bigger concern is the spring rating and how much travel they will give me. With and without he bumper on it.

    I'm so undecided :-(

With the bumpers I think you'll end up needing to upgrade to the 700# coils on the Kings unless you go with aluminum bumpers. @Acerwin runs a similar front end setup to what you're going for, I think. He's got the Kings and a steel plate bumper.
