    Hey folks,

I'm looking to replace my stock headlights, (which are now faded, and white), to something a little different.

I've got a few options available to me... and was wondering if any of you had some input to give on any of these:

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/LED-CHROME-D...del:Tacoma&hash=item51a18395c9#ht_6271wt_1397

    or these....

    http://www.k2motor.com/05-08-toyota...ts-amber-reflector-chrome-led-fog-lights.html

these are more OEM looking... but smoked:

My other option.... would be to buy a set of used OEM 2011 Sport Style headlights, that have the light smoke INSIDE the housing, but still chrome.....

    What do you all think?

Have you tried restoring them? A little time and TLC and they can look as good as new, and a lot less cheaper then a replacement.

I used the 3M restoration kit on the headlights on my '06. It took a few hours but they now look almost like new. $11-12 on Amazon, about half the cost at the local car parts store. Works for me. For a factory look replacement the TYC brand have excellent fit and finish.

Thanks for the replies guys! I have tried to restore them, but looks like on is hazed on the inside, which makes me think that it might be leaking. The Driverside light turned out great, but my passenger light is much more hazed.

I used the same Turtle Wax Rubbing compound I used to do my headlights, and then used some PlastX to polish out the finer scratches. The only thing I didn't do was wet sand the lens first.... but didn't do it on the driverside either.... and IT turned out nice.

Besides, I'd really like to upgrade to the newer Sport Model lights.... they have a very slight tint to the inner portion, which looks pretty sharp with the Speedway Blue Paint I have....

    Thanks again for the responses!

if you're set on buying new ones, go for TYC or Depo, those are the best two brands in my experience.

if you live near a Keystone Automotive (www.lkqcorp.com) they'll have a lifetime warranty against leakage.
