Update: Toyota shop said it was bad cv's on both side n they r bent. He said it was due to offroading heavily n I told him I bought the truck over a yr ago n have only used 4wd twice n wasn't rock climbing or doing stupid shit to mess it up n then he tried telling me its cause its lifted n I said I have read a lot of ppl run the set up I am (bilsteins sets at 2.5 w sal and different drop along with carrier bearing drop) and don't recall any of then having a cv problem like this. So he will prbly try to screw me over cause I have the bilsteins, installed by a local shop here. Said it'll take still till at least next Thursday n they have had it since Monday of this week. Took em 3 full days to get a diagnosis on it n I called numerous times n spoke to someone there n they said well he is busy he'll call u back didn't get a call back n tried contacting service mgr and said he stepped out. They aren't getting a penny from me and will contact the right person in order to do so. I got the platinum warranty for a reason. And for only using the truck in 4wd twice since I've had it I don't think it could've fucked it up.

Definitely not I know I don't have a set up to be doing stuff like that. Went through a few trails n went through a few mud puddles going about 10 MPH. Only time I act like a trophy driver is hauling ass on the highway, n not in my truck that's only in my gfs corolla

I've seen them break, but never bend. Weird. You can get complete CV axles from autozone pretty cheap if they won't cover it.

He was just trying to put the problem on me tho saying oh well 4 wheeling is the major cause n in the yr n a half I've owned my truck I've only put it in 4wd twice. And used a differential drop kit along w my bilsteins at 2.5" idk he has to call Toyota extra care to get it approved then he said they may send an adjuster down to determine if they wanna fix it. All bullshit if u ask me

Yeah it is bullshit. It sucks, but the warranty is rarely honored and you're usually better off fixing stuff yourself anyway.

Well Toyota called end of last week n said that they r ok'd to replace the parts I'm gonna ask if I can c the old part n I will take pics cause its just odd how I could've bent one or even broke it going through a few trails that ain't no rock climbing trails or in bad shape for that matter and going through a mud puddle at about 10-15 MPH. Don't make sense but I can guarantee my truck is still wobbling after they fix it.

If I get my hands on eM possibly I may keep em if they aren't "bent" lol but I dk my problem seemed to me was a steering issue n not a balance or alignment. Besides that my passenger cv boot had fallen off. I don't think they know what they r talking bout by since its underwarranty I'm letting em fix it till they get it right.

Well the cv axles from Autozone are aboot 150 bucks, I know cuz I work there haha. It is cheaper to order from rock auto, bout 50 bucks. I've never seen them bend, of all the broken or damaged ones I've seen, no bent ones, just blown up joints or boots. So a "bent" cv joint I would find hard to believe. Glad it got fixed for the OP
