stuck on picking a house color and new roof shingle color. There has got to be a few painters here.

This is a old pic, but here are some things we know, the ugly bushes up front are gone except for the rhodi which has been trimmed, the shutters are coming off.

will not stay within the same shade, looks horrible
can not do any yellow, there is to many yellow houses around us, both next door neighbors are the house across the street diagonally are some shade of yellow.

want to keep it simple, and elegant, but not too much that it stands out, our house was built in 1920, and we are surrounded by houses from that year, or much earlier. It is a craftsman style bungalow.

    colors we have tossed around
    greens, in the olive shade
    creams
    tans
    blues.

we are entertaining the thought of doing a 2 tone as well.

changes that will also be done are a new roof, color has yet to be picked, as well as new gutters.

    photochop away, and HELP! please

Well with you being in auburn I am sure yellow with a reddish roof would look fine.

    check out http://www.certainteed.com/
they have a pretty good interactive program to mix and match various sidings and roof to get a rough idea how certain colors will look.

We went with sandpiper (yellow) and a red roof.

we will land scaping using black mulch out front.

Take a drive around the neighborhoods and snap some pictures.

I know a good gutter guy. we are extremely pleased with our gutters

Can you get a green shade on your pics with a non-chalant white for trip. You can make the shades dark green....
