Reciently noticed a popping, or clanking noise when I first apply my brakes, sounds like somehting may be loose with the brake line....Any suggestions or anyone have similar problems? My Taco has 35,000 miles on it. Also anyone have the ticking noise coming from under the glove box when you turn on the heat/air? I've had it for awhile and im fed up with it.

Brake noise common. Most likely front brake pads rattling around in the caliper. Mine does it first time I apply the brakes going forward & backward. Seems to be a common nuisance.

Read the manual. It means you need new brake pads.
