97 toyota tacoma 2.7 turns over but will not start. Has fuel has spark, timing is right on,sounds like it has no compression. Changed oil a day or two before problem started. Was turning over fine for a couple of seconds when I tried to start it and then just wouldn't start sounded like it had no compression any ideas I am stumped!!

What do you mean by "sounded like it had no compression" ?
Did it turn over unusually fast while cranking?

I don't want to answer for mini, but for me it sounds unusually smooth, but I haven't yet tested compression, but if compression were low I know mine would spin much faster.

yeah if it turns over easily and really fast usually thats compression, id check that first.

So I found some talk about flooding, didn't know that would happen with EFI, but after holding the pedal on the floor for a min it started in a big puff of black smoke, and seems fine now.
I guess I was over thinking things
