    2015 Access Cab
    Hey all,
I have a new to me 2015 Access cab Taco, which as far as I can tell is the last year of Gen2. It has sport bucket seats, and they just don't fit me. I'd like to backdate to seats that are more comfortable.

Anyone know what fits? Looking at car-part.com, I'm pretty sure the non-sport buckets from any 2015 are a direct fit (either access cab or 4 door). Would buckets or even a bench from any Gen2 fit, or did the mounting points change in 2015? Do I need to stay with access cabs only?

If anyone is near Atlanta and wants to trade, I'm game to try & see if it fits. I'd rate these seats as being in excellent condition (previous owner was skinny & hardly drove it), so I'm looking for similar condition.

Been a few months, thought I'd post my findings in case anyone else actually wants a bench seat in a 2015.

Yes, you can absolutely bolt an older bench seat in to a 2015 Access cab. Not really surprising, it's all Gen2 after all, but there's your confirmation. I believe mine came from a 2009 regular cab. Bolt holes line right up and the bolts are all the same. If it's off a little, just use the sliders to shift the seat forward/backwards. Was surprising to me how much this moves the feet.

That covers the easy part, now let's cover where everything goes wrong. For starters you have to pull the center console (no surprise). My first surprise though was the power inverter for the outlet in the bed lives under here, and that has to be relocated as well. That's off to the side for now, figure it will make a nice project for when I want power inside the cab.

Next non-surprise was that the electronics for the seatbelts and airbag weight sensor don't match. The surprise part was that even the seatbelts aren't the same. Turns out the buckle for the middle seatbelt matches the latch on our doors, so ordered a second one of those (P/N 73230-04160-B0), and now I'm good to roll again. Have not figured out what to do on the electronics side though. There's a work-around where you spice a 3.3 ohm resistor into the airbag weight sensor (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/non-airbag-buckets-into-a-2010-reg-cab.162390/). I'm optimistic I can do that and strip the wiring harnesses out of my old buckets and cobble together something for the seatbelt lights. If anyone has pin-outs on the seatbelt harness (the 4 pin grey one), please point me that way, haven't been able to track it down myself.
