help with 2.7 muffler and intake

    hello everyone im new here so help me out of ya can, i just purchased a 08 2.7 access cab 4x4 and i wanna change the sound just not make it to loud, i use the truck for hunting so any help will be appreciated

    im looking for suggestions on mufflers for the 4 banger and intakes that will give me the best results and still keep my muffler quiet for hunting season, im open to everything

    probably the best thing for you to do, and to keep the truck relatively quiet, is to skip the intake(not worth the high price you will pay for one), get a good high flow filter such as the afe pro dry s, and get a good sized magnaflow muffler welded in. that way, you have better mileage/ air flow in and out, but it will keep the truck pretty quiet.
