I want to level my truck with the bilstein 5100 shocks. I heard they give you as much as a 2.5 in lift. I would buy them just for the front to be level. I heard you have to adjust them, heard you don't get much lift. Any input is appreciated! Thanks guys!

Mods and the rest of TW frown upon multiple threads on the same topic. It's just spam :p

The front struts of the 5100's have different rings that change where the coil seat sits on the strut. Depending on where you set them, (Like wolf said) you can get from 0-2.5" of lift from them, but the higher you go, the more pre-load you add to the coil, the more downtravel you lose. The ride also stiffens.
