    I think this is the one I followed once upon a time. Same concept and procedure, only I had to add the masking steps at the beginning since I wasn't replacing the grille insert.

    Damn. Seems easy enough. Just some time invested and it should be done. You have any pictures of yours colormatched? I havent seen a silver one color matched yet.

    I thought about doing the blacked out surround (as I plasti-dipped my badges, flares, wheels, and bumper valence), but decided I liked the smoothness of the 1E7 surround with black inserts better.

    Yea theres something super clean about a colormatched grill surround. Ill have a winch and all that put on later so its about deciding what will look best with the winch on there too.

    Ill post pictures to reveal what i decide no doubt haha

    I think it'll look just as clean with a blacked plate bumper, for sure. All I've got is a light bar behind the stock bumper, so I can't really offer anything to compare though. Plenty of other members' trucks that do though.
