HID head lights, fagtech coil overs and an AAL, gay ass 2 inch body lift (soon to be removed) taneau cover, k&n intake, soon to have an axle swap with a E locker
i have a 99 ext cab sr5 and i would like to upgrade the inside door panels to a newer style. i was wondering first at what year do they change and will any newr style fit my 99 and still operate all the windows and locks? ill look in junk yards for the panels. would be nice if i can find some automatic mirrors too!

what else in interchangeable/compatible from the newer Tacoma's interior with the first gens?

thanks in advance for all your help guys.

The only 'newer' style you can transplant would be panels (etc.) from a 2001 - 2004 model. The 2005+ models are a completely different vehicle, and the interior trim parts aren't transplant-able.

What about just removing them and reupholstering them to your liking? True, the style would not change but the new look might be all you really need.

Yeah - 'tweeding' the door panels (covering them with a new fabric) is a popular mod.
