My friend just gave me his brand new factory radio sat/mp3 out of his 2010 tacoma. I have a 2008 tacoma and want to install the radio in my truck. I just need to know what wire I put in the aux port in the back of the headunit. I would like to be able to plug my ipod into the stereo. Thanks

    Wire size/kind anyone????

Not sure what plug it is but it isn't a very good AUX port. I would just get an Ipod interface.

Grom is cheapest and Dice is the most expensive. I have the USA unit that I got for 120 shipped on ebay and it works well but the Dice unit let's you scroll through your song list with your headunit(or so I'm told it does).

Also regarding your stereo, it will work as long as you are not interchanging JBL into non JBL or vica versa.

    No. It is an option.
