    Hello,
After a lot of research on the forum I decided I wanted a 2 inch lift in front with 1.5 in the rear, I still haven't decided which one but it will be shocks with a rear leaf. I don't off road besides some trails, just want the lift. I am leaning towards 285/75/16 for tires. I spoke with two different local installers today who said the 4wd models have more clearance and are able to accommodate bigger tires. I found that odd, basically the same truck without 4wd if I'm correct? They just seemed unfamiliar with lifts and were pushing rough country kits they sell which I don't want. My question is there a clearance difference with 4wd and RWD where they can accommodate bigger tires without rubbing. I am looking to go with something from Toytech or Headstrong after further researching. I can see its gonna be difficult to find a knowledgeable installer in the area. I have driving Tacoma's since 2000 but this is first time I have ever wanted to lift. Thank you for any input. 18.jpg My ride 18 TRD Sport 265/70/16 Falkons with ray 10s

I'm very happy with my Toytec lift. Great ride. I did go with a full Dakar leaf pack in the back in lieu of a AAL.
