I just bought a 2012 Tacoma 4x4 I4 to replace my stolen Suburaban. The Suburban was stolen from a parking lot in broad daylight.

Since the I4 doesn't even have the engine immobilizer, I am very concerned about theft.

I think maybe a fuel pump kill switch would be the best option. I just need to know how to easily find the correct wire to splice into.

I found this http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/foru...ill-switch-bad-guy-protection-post426005.html and wonder if it can be applied to our Tacomas, or if there are better places to splice into the wire, maybe at the fuse box itself ?

Anybody done a fuel pump kill or can help with finding the right wire ?

I really love this Tacoma and dont want to lose it like the Suburban.

    Thanks

There is a thread or two on a starter kill switch that might work for you. If you search for kill switch, you should find it.
