i was looking at some ion alloys 16x8 and they are 4.25" backspaced and -5 offset. would these stick out farther than my stock trd offroad wheels with 1.25" spacers? I dont understand what the backspacing will be once it put 1.25" on my stock wheels which I think are 4.5" backspaced. also how wide is my stock wheels, 8"?

Stock TRD OR wheels are +32 mm offset, so the Ions will stick out 37 mm more than stock, or 1.46".

Another question, the motometal 951 are 0 offset and 4.5 backspaced. would this be the same as stock wheels with 1.25" spacers? What im trying to figure out is what I can do to make my tires stick out barrly past the fenders.

Since the stock wheels have 32 mm offset and the MotoMetals have 0 mm offset, the tires will stick out extra 32 mm. 32/25.4 = 1.26". The MotoMetals will accomplish your desired effect. My Konigs are the same size. Take a look in my gallery.

This thread has good info on all the Toyota wheels for Tacos, 4Runners, FJs, etc.
