I installed a new Dual head unit today....simple install works great. Tonight I went to go turn on my head lights and the gauge cluster wont light up. It only lights up when my lights are off. So, I reconected the factor unit and now its doing the same thing!

small dent on the hood, new foglight bulb, roughed up bedliner, been smoked in, suspicious stains on the passenger seat, boogers on the drivers seat, dirty floor mats, girl doodles on the dirty windows, loose wiring
check and see if your taillights are out too. if the instrument panel doesnt light up, usually it's because your taillight fuse blew out. it could have happened from hitting wires together during the install, but either way just check your taillight fuse under the hood and i can almost promise you it popped. every vehicle i've ever owned, the taillights and instrument panel are on the same circuit, so if your taillights go out you can tell because your gauges won't light up either. let me know if that was the problem

I took it today to the dealer and they said it is a faulty dimmer switch. So they ordered the part....we will see on thursday if that works.
