As the title says, I'm trying to help a friend out with his Tundra. He's got a 2014 Double Cab with the 5.7 liter. Mod list - 6" Rough Country lift, 20x12 Fuel Maverick wheels with a -44 offset and 35" Atturo Trail Blade tires. The speed sensor on the driver's side wheel keeps going bad and causing the dash to light up like a Christmas tree. The Low Tire Pressure, Traction Control, ABS lights are lit up solid. 4 Hi and 4 Low lights are flashing on the dash. The ABS kicks in at low speeds, too. He's brought it to a local Toyota dealership to have it looked at. They're blaming it on the spindle from the new lift. My buddy says it has been pulling to the right and has a shaky steering wheel. He's also contacted Rough Country. They say to check the alignment and that's it.

Has anyone heard of or had this issue before? What do you suggest for his next plan of action? Get a new spindle to start? Any help would be awesome. Thanks for the help in advance!

    Matt

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
Put his brodozer back to stock and see if it goes away.

Well, that's what I was gonna suggest too.

These wheeler sensors on our tundra trucks will cause all sorts of issues. I know, I broke a wire on my rear axle that goes to the speed sensor. Soldered it back together, disconnected the battery for a bit and all is good.

    Sounds like a defective spindle.

find local shop that has a MODIS scanner (snap-on) It can View wheel speed sensors,if sensors are bad the sensors will read different speeds making the computer think a wheel is slipping/skidding making abs activate.

Bad wheel berring will cause speed sensor issues.

There have been reports of people running offset spacers on their hubs to cause wheel berrings to go bad.
