Looks great man, is there any sort of writeup for the shallow satoshi? It looks lie you just cut back the width of the inset, am I right? Doing a satoshi soon and I like this option.

Yea ,just cut off the depth you want.Used a jig saw then used body fender cheese file to straighten it out.At corners its easier to use a hacksaw blade.Cut tie stap clips in half (because it was so shallow)then epoxied to sides. Then attached grill with straps.Drilled grill at 4 parts of grill just for insurance and tie straped also.

Hemi......thats looks sweet.....especially with the white inside and little shallower.....of course im still thrilled and ecstatic with mine (the one you originally made), but you definitely have a unique grille on the island. Hope to see you on the road soon.....aloha bruddah.

P.S. Can't wait to see what emblem you eventually will be putting on.

Dont have pictures of the cutting process but got some pictures. The one with paint mix stick is how I measured and marked off the depthTaped piece of stick onto stick (for depth)then with sharpie went around whole grill on inside.Cut with jig saw kind of trickey. For corners hacksaw bladeworks great.Cleaned up cut with body fender (cheese file) from checkers.Straightens it up good. Also need to trim headlite housing where bottom of grill goes in for clearance.I plastic welded part where you cut out center of grill but epoxy should work fine.Lot of work but was worth it.Wasnt sure if I could do it thats why I used grillcraft. If I screwed it up grillcraft will cover it up.Take your time and should be alright Pics...

I think Hemi down plays his true talents. I have witnessed first hand his ability to work with materials and he is truly an artist. Can't wait to see those badges....if you ordered them on 7/5, they should be arriving any day now huh?

No,just painted satoshied part.Used duplicolor super white and cleared with dupont trim and door jam clear from Hi line distributors on Ualena St in airport area.If you going repaint your eyelids should go with that clear.Doesnt change the tint of the white. It stays the white you spray.I know you said you had problem when you cleared your eyelid.Still looks good .
