Herculiner on Flares...a little help please

    im about to go out and buy some herculiner to do my faded flares on my truck and was just wondering what the best cleaning solvent i should use before? The flares are plastic and on the instructions I read for that stuff online they didn't include plastic as one of the materials to use herculiner on. Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

    i got a grinder and chewed them up a lot before i put mine on... so there would be a lot for the liner to grip to

    i actually noticed it peeling off easy on spots that i didn't grind.... i had to go back over and grind it and put more layers


    i was mainly the flares that needed this... i didn't have to scuff as much on the body
