First decent trip with the Tacoma. 3 1/2hrs of highway with the cruise set at 70. Transmission performed flawlessly and I averaged 22.5 mpg. 1200 miles on the truck.

    Very happy taco owner.

My wife drove back on the return trip and she drove 60 with the cruise and we got 23.5mpg. Right in the specs.

I just got back picking up from picking up a used 5x10 utility trailer. Of the 130 mile round trip with the a/c on...roughly 65 miles towing back the trailer, i still ended up with a respectable 22.4 mpg. Speeds averaged from 55 to 70 mph most of the way.

We're on the tail end of a 2400 mile trip from Massachusetts down to South Carolina and back. There a couple of side trips on the way as well. The truck has been flawless even in the hills of Virginia Carolina's and Tennessee.

The hill climbs of eating up a lot of gas mileage but it's certainly well worth it. The truck did everything I needed it to do and did it in Comfort. I know some people won't like this, but I think of it is a very nice Camry with a pickup bed.
