Everything that should be checked is on the service techs checklist.

I know what should be but I also know how some techs cut corners. Just want to be able to pin these guys down to what they should do vs. what they want to do.

Tires should be marked to see if they are rotated correctly, filter marked too if paranoid. Tire pressures checked (and often corrected) when completed. Check your spare too, they don't likely touch it.

It would be nice if they'd check the trans fluid level, but that's very unlikely to happen.

But really, why give yourself the headache? Find an independent mechanic you can trust and use them.

Save the dealer for warranty, recall, service campaign or SST duty. Of those you'd expect recalls and service campaigns to be about it. Hopefully.

Diff seals, any TSBs and recalls (ask about flashing your transmission if they haven't)

20k is basically an oil change and tire rotation, I suppose you could ask them to grease the front driveshaft

I did ask about the tsb for the transmission. The only reason I’m here is for the “Free” service.
