I have not taken any measurements yet. Going to do it hopefully tomorrow. Was too busy running around. In the back I have the HS Progressive AAL, and we left the overload in because of the cap.

Hopefully going in for an alignment tomorrow as well.

Still having trouble?! Dang, that sucks. We had some trouble with mine on Saturday as well. Sucks when stuff is rusted out and won't come out. It's a time killer, and then the hassle of having to hack stuff off and find replacement parts.

 

Yea I saw the NE thread good shit man. You aren't kidding. Ordered everything New cuz I thought we might have issues but didn't order those 2 main leaf mount bolts. Nut came off but bolt fused inside the bushing. Thankfully @jc11taco89 is surgical with the cutoff wheel.

 

Should have soaked the stuff with PB Blaster for weeks ahead of time.
Don't ask how I know this, but I owned boats for 40+ years.

 

I can vouch for that, now that I have used it. That stuff stinks to high heaven, but works wonders! The bolts came off super easily on Saturday when Drew did mine, after spraying it for the past two days, and hitting it again on Saturday morning. It even came in super helpful to remove the one bolt from the OEM leaf pack that was being stubborn and didn't want to come out.

 

Just shows you need to Fluid Film it if you're driving in in the winter brine. Heck your truck is "new" & all that trouble.

 

PB worked on a few of the nuts and I started hosing shit down a few weeks ago. 14 years and 158k CT native the rust just fused everything. I saw something about 50/50 acetone and atf is supposed to be awesome

 

True that. Been doing the fluid film thing the past two years, right before winter, so wonder how bad it would have/could have been if I hadn't been doing that.
