Hey!

Hello. I'm new to this forum. I don't have a Tacoma yet, but I will be getting one in the near future. It'll be a brand new, standard cab, 4cyl., 5-spd., 2wd. I'm planning on doing some work to it, because I haven't seen very many of these fixed up. I've already bought most of the stereo equipment I'm going to use in it. In fact, all I have to buy now is speakers. So for now, I'm here to learn as much as I can, and to help with anything that I do know. Thank you all for everything way in advance!!!

Welcome to TW, so what made you decide on a Taco and more specifically the one you described ?

 

I decided on a Tacoma because I work at the Toyota plant here in Georgetown, and I get a nice discount and a good interest rate. I wanted something that was good on gas, and once I drove one, I was hooked. I chose the standard cab, 2wd model because I haven't seen any of these dropped and customized (ok, I saw one today in the pictures section of this web site).
