HF Aluminum Jack + Pro Eagle Parts?

I'm getting the one from DMZ

 

I wonder I if can fabricate the jack extension, please somebody measure it and send me the dimensions.

 

I just took the wheels off. A skid would work better, but in the concrete hard desert terrain of Utah, just the frame rails on the jack held up. Id recommend putting a board under it though at the very least.

 

SDHQ did price match Kartek. It came in handy since I was ordering some other stuff from Sdhq that Kartek didnt have.

That seems excessive when trying to save money.

$89 skid plate for the 1.5 ton HF jack

and if you want to mount it using their parts, additional
$30 for the front mount
$22 glorified hood pin for "rear" mount

So now, you'd be in for $301 + DMZ shipping costs.

 

DMZ is local, kartek is local (free shipping they say). But for my purposes and how I use drive my truck the setup is useful.

Based on this review for the PE Jack Extension I'd say yes

 

Just picked up a 2 ton aluminum jack. Now the fun begins to either fab a skid/sled or do a lift with tires.......

I just ordered the 8" extension and the pad. Now I'm looking at either Pro Eagle 6" wheels or HF wheels which are half the price but have a 5/8" bearing (ID). I'm hoping to find out what size the Pro Eagle wheels. My thought is to use a 3/4" axle (I have 3/4" stainless steel round stock) as an axle.

 

Anyone have a 2 ton Pro Eagle? I'm looking for some measurements so I can retrofit my HF 2 ton aluminum jack......

Dimensions requested:

Distance between the side plates by the front wheels?
Bearing ID on front wheels?

 

Although I pulled the trigger and ordered the pad extension, saddle, front wheels and axle from Pro Eagle, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about this conversion project. I guess I'll find out in a week or so if this conversion was folly.....

I only ordered the front wheels and axle because I'm not positive the axle will fit the HF 2 ton aluminum jack. I expect some modification to it but I've just retired from working in a metal fabrication facility so my access will be limited at best. Poor timing on my part......
