Did that winch solenoid come with the come up winch? Or did you purchase one and wired it up?

I think my solenoid is out, I would like to get an aftermarket one, but I don't know how to wire it up. Tips?

That solenoid only acts as an on/off switch for the winch. I added it after the initial install. It's simply in-line in the winch power wire and operated by a Carling switch in the cab.

Honestly, I don't know enough about how winch controllers are wired to offer any real advice. This is the first winch I've owned and it was all color coded. No thought required.

Tim and Eric. How much droop are you getting with the Dakars and @ARCHIVE 's shakle flip kit? Is it anywhere near going past the 27.25" extended length of the B110's?

I have both the 4" and 5" shackles of Eric's premium Shackle Flip kit. Tim-Your shackles are probably the standard 4"
I won't go to the 5", which allows 1-2" more droop, if there's a possibility of over extending the B110's.

I honestly don't know. I got tired of measuring and figuring and just did it. Maybe I'll go back and screw wit it one day. Most likes not though...

I can tell you that I get enough droop to pull the boot off the shock. I assume that's somewhere near full extension lol!

Damn- You need more lift and droop. You're wasting all that extension with your measly setup.
    You got ripped-off son.
Tim and my budget Bilsteins get 27.25"

I'll wait for Eric @ARCHIVE to chime in since you can't take the time to help a bro out by lifting one side of your truck and measure your shock extension. :brianr:
