What kind of HP numbers you expecting after these upgrades? You know you're gonna get gallons per mile now.

That’s why Jimmy has an aux gas tank.

So he can go buy beer without a mid-flight refueling. :)

I would be curious what your mpg is now that you’ve gotten a more reasonable trailer and reconfigured your setup a little

I haven’t spent much time over in the performance thread. I’ve never seen a dyno sheet for a Taco. Plus, as you know, it varies from dyno to dyno. Since I never had a baseline, I’ll never know what the difference is number wise.

What do they say? Stock 235. Supercharged 305. Considerably more than that.

Of course, those are crank numbers. The 35s will cut down what is shown at the tires, on top of drive train loss. The snorkel will also limit things.

And, fuel mileage is shit anyway.

Oh stop it’s easy. Fill tank, drive, fill tank again, divide distance by how many gallons you put in

Nope. unless using a restrictive precleaner, the snorkel is not an issue. I am aware of the argument that all the bends cause drag for the incoming air, etc etc. one day if I am feeling ambitious I will get my truck on a dyno and test.

Only going on what Gadget says. I’m assuming he has seen more data than we ever will.

I’m referring to the turbulence that the snorkel creates, not the drag. This is why he says to run the hat backwards. Or, JSM (Jersey Shore Mod)

Need to run this past Scott.

OK, Blower back on, 7th injector bolted down, and @Roostfactor pulley wrap kit installed.

I really like the pulley wrap kit. It bolts right on, is adjustable, an looks like it’ll do just what it’s meant to. What more could you ask for? Well done John

And thank you @loginfailed , for letting me have the one that was meant for you, so I could get it installed right away.

Tomorrow night, I need to plug in the expansion harness, wire the 7th, and finish installing the intake. Then, a new tune with Scott Sat.

    If all goes well...

I didn’t run it with the new pulley without the wrap.

The 2.825 pulley was a consistent 8-8.5 PSI peak. It hit 9.8 once up in NH on a -17* F morning.

That extra 3lbs or so makes a substantial difference. The truck actually feels fast-ish now.

    I like it.
