That was done with worst case scenario. Coilovers pulled, sitting on the bumpstops, repeatedly turning lock to lock until the nothing touched.

We had to take out way more than I expected. I was really expecting the 1” body lift to save me a lot. I’m really glad I did it now.

The tires ALMOST rub the relocated body mount even.

We left the tire on the opposite side. That put pressure towards the side we were cutting. We also cut extra out to allow for that. Then, made it as smoothe as possible in case it does rub anywhere.

It was getting ridiculous. I wasn’t cutting anymore. If it rubs a little, so be it. I can deal with a little scuffed paint in the wheel wells.

Actually, I found a tire shop that would attempt balancing these.

It’s funny, the spare tire that has no beadlock required 9.75 oz to static balance.

I vacuumed the balancing beads out of one of the beadlock wheel tires and brought it to them. It required 3.75 oz

I need to get the beads out of the other three, but it looks like they will balance.

I think you read it wrong. I found a place to balance them. One is already done.

Thanks Greg. Not yet. I’m getting all the beads out of the other tires today so they can be balanced Monday.

Unfortunately, I can’t get them out through the back side, so all the rings need to come off to suck the beads out.

Hopefully, I’ll get the front bumper back on today too. I need to relocate and rewire the controller.

Still need to break in the rear Diff. Bunch of other little things.

We’re also getting ready to put our house on the market, so I need to spend a few weekends getting it ready.

I’m going down to ECGS the first week of June. They’re going to get the traction bar attached to the 60. Then, I want to do some wheeling with some locals down there. That will be my first wheeling trip this year most likely.

Then it’s game on. I’m tired of working on the truck. Just want to enjoy it now.

Looking forward to hitting the trails with you guys. It’s been way too long.

I also picked up an old pop up camper in CT on my way home from NH a couple of months ago.

Was intended to be cheap camping until we figure out what we want to do for a tow rig setup.

Karen was already watching pop up renovation videos when I got home with it...

This too has become a project :annoyed:
