    Nothing planned. Going to try to sell the Taco too. I already posted about it on IG. I need to clean it up as well and get some good pics for a proper for sale thread.

    Did you trim above the fender holes? Any pics of the process? Thanks!

    No. I cut 2”. There are some pics in this thread somewhere.

    The fenders that I have on my truck now are 5 lug Tacoma fenders. 5 lug Tacoma’s don’t have flares, so they don’t have flare holes.

    My old fenders were cut well below the holes.

    I bought this FOXWELL NT630 Elite OBD2 Scanner... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CSMJJK9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share to help me figure out my electrical gremlins. This thing is awesome for anyone looking for an affordable scan tool.

    Anyway, I just ended up having to clear codes. Codes that are deeper than what can be read or cleared with a ScangaugeII apparently.

    No check engine light, no dash lights, speedo and fuel gauge now working as they should.

    I had a LOT of stuff unplugged while Jon and I were tubbing for the 37s, Ucon and ECU removed, Fuse panel under the dash removed, Etc. I also stretched one of my wheel speed sensor wires pretty good.

    I believe, some of the above simply set off codes that I needed a decent scanner to clear. The combination of clearing said codes, and changing the sensor wire, seem to have done the trick.

    That’s a load off. I’ve been using my phone for a speedometer for like two months. I wish I’d bought this scanner sooner. I was putting it off, because I was not expecting it to be such an easy fix.

    This is all that I have from doing 35s.

    The cab mount is now relocated to clear the 37s, but for 35s I actually ended up grinding it back more up top than in the picture below.

    To draw the cut line, get a stick of wood. Drill two holes in it big enough to stick a sharpie in each hole as far apart as you want your cut to be. Run one sharpie along the bottom edge of the wheel opening while letting the second sharpie draw the line. I believe @cynicalrider has a picture of this. I stole the idea from him.

    @Basikbiker

    I hear you’re developing a HD steering setup? Blew the seals in my rack yesterday.

    It’s built. Cummins swap at some point, but other than that, good to go.

    Nah. Just looking for a tow rig. Doesn’t look like we are going to make a deal on this one anyway though.
