You won’t buy it. But if you do change those headlights if you ever plan to drive it in the snow. I had them in my new plow truck and they do work great and are designed to not blind people but they don’t get warm enough to melt the snow off

Can confirm that camping and wheeling out of a 40’ toy hauler doesn’t suck at all. Not having to put shoes on for the still drunk 5am pee is glorious

Lol. How the heck are you Ryan?

Even if you weren’t picking your sick lines all the way out in CO now, I wouldn’t have time to follow them these days.

I did get a little snow wheeling in a couple of days ago however :D

I'm alright. Thinking about taking a few more steps with the taco, tube bed, crawl box, new front bumper. Wishing I had a shop like yours and a lift to make it easy to throw some 60s under it. Gonna hold off on that and let the 60s decorate my backyard another year

@HolyHandGrenade so how is the e brake on your sos rear brake kit?
How does it compare to the stock one?
    Can it stop your truck?
Overall are you happy with it?
    Thx

Mark, I have his Dana 60 under my truck now. Not sure if he augmented with a line lock or something else but a parking brake on the internal discs is not as strong as stock. Plenty for what I need and keeps pressure off the parking pawl. The internal surface area on the backside of the disc lacks a solid 3” of leverage holding the wheel plus the shoes are much smaller than stock as well. Tim may chime in here with better wisdom than I thought.

    Thx for the info.
I know its not as strong ad stock.
Trying to find out just how useful it would be in an emergency.
From 1 to 10, stock being 10, how would you rate them for use if your disc brakes went out?

    I'm getting a Dana 60 from ecgs.
ECGS and my installer recommended these and I want to keep it drums.
    Trying to figure it out.
I already have the stoptech's in front and the electronic boosted mc.

    Mark,
I don't have much data to argue from but I would rate it as a 7 compared to stock.
In addition: I have a Tundra MC and Brake Booster in lieu of your electronic booster. This has no bearing on the parking brake, but I am happy with the results overall. I just can't speak to the electric booster.

    Jason

    Hope all is well Tim.

I liked the 60 from ECGS quite a bit. I did a thread on it when I installed it somewhere. I didn’t have it all that long before I parted the Taco out. I did really like the OX locker. I will never use an ARB again after multiple seal failures.

I didn’t bother with the parking brake. @zippsub9 must have added it after he bought the 60 from me.
