Hi all, Just got my 2008 Prerunner

Yesterday I picked up my first Tacoma. She is a bute! 2008 Prerunner double cab TRD sport. I have wanted one for several years and let me tell you this truck is freaking awesome. Anyone else got one like mine and if so have you had any problems or any praise to offer?

Well you know how it is when you get a new truck and you wanna play with it and so forth. I am going to take some picks tomorrow and post them. I think that it is basicly that same as the 2007 but I am not sure. I was just reading about the tailgate on the forum and I was wondering if the tailgate on my truck is the reinforced one or not. No matter. I have allready ordered my hard topper (ARE LS2) and all weather floor mats (Toyota brand). I am about to order some the rubber suit seat covers. Any coments about the accesories that I have ordered?

 

Oh I forgot to say in the post the sticker was 30,900. I got the guy to come down to 28,000. It is the 2008 double cab with the TRD sport package, silver.

 

If the tailgate has been reinforced, you will have to pull off the tailgate skin to see the enforcements. I have pics of the fix here:

I bought a 07 Tacoma a few months ago, wondering, does your tacoma comes with DRL from the factory? (DayTime Running Lights)

 

No it does not have the daytime running lights. I am glad it does not, I dont want the lights on unless I turn them on.

 

Now does the sport have the hood scoop and the TRD exhuast tip? Did it come with the tow package also? I think the tacoma's are great. Have fun with it.
