Great site!

I've been poking around the toyota forums for a while but always seem to end up back here... guess it's time to join.

I bought a brand new tacoma -07 dbl cab TRD yamaha edition- last Oct. It was a major event for me as this is the first new vehicle I've ever owned.... never thought I would spend that much money on a truck but I have not been sorry. This truck is so much fun!!!

I'm going slow for now on the mods...deciding what i really want. I did the fog light always on and removed the secondary air filter. Other things I'm considering are: tires, heated signal mirrors, grill, ABS kill switch, backup camera, drop in air filter, and maybe a lift at some point.

Looking forward to enjoying my new tacoma and Tacoma World!!

The yamaha se package was only offered in Canada, I think. Not to sure of all the differences but i think it's basicly the sport package with a few different trim options. Mine has the TRD exhaust, carbon fiber dash and yamaha se stickers but no limited slip diff. (thats the one thing i'd want if i did it over). It also came with several $100 worth of coupons good with purchase of new Yamaha products Ha Ha!...don't think I'll be using those...they expire in March...mostly a marketing trick i suppose.

This truck was on the lot with a good rebate offer and all the options I really had my heart set on... otherwise i probably would have went with the sport package... anyway, all in all still one awesome truck!
