    Just registered after lurking for a few weeks. Looking to buy a used Tacoma; I am driving a 99.5 VW TDI and its' got the clearance of a " your choice of expression" and will not do for the winter or mud days. Getting a little long of tooth and wanted something that would last as nearly long as myself. The road into my place at Knouff Lake can be a bit challenging in winter and getting out a 4x4 is necessay, the days the snowplow is in the ditch on its side I believe the locking diff would be appreciated. Looking at the 2006 year as a choice considering newer would be out of my price range and older seems to be not much cheaper but a lot more miles/Km. I am thinking of an access cab as I do not need much back seating and believe this could give me more room in the box and less over all length; because I need a truck not a SUV. Plan to now use seach to look for problems that one needs to be aware of when buying a used 2006 Off Road, If anyone has some knowledge I would appreciate advise to help with my ignorance.
