Forgive me, in advance, as I am possibly about to sin...

My beloved '82 SR5 Longed will either be replaced, or supplemented. Its always done everything I've asked, yet maybe no more...honestly, I haven't decided its fate yet.

In trying to get just enough towing capacity for a smaller travel trailer, I just placed my order for a '17 DCLB Off Road in Quicksand. It's literally being built now. I squeezed in just in time to add my list of options so they get added directly at the factory. I'm told late October or early November arrival.

So, hello from the central Oregon coast. Thanks for having me. I look forward reaping the rewards of TW member's knowledge.

A little of this and a little of that.
Welcome to TW Peter! Congrats on the '17 Tacoma purchase. Great color choice IMO.

My brother had a red '82 just like yours, long bed & 4x4. Yours looks great BTW!

    Thank you!
While waiting for my '17, about another 4 weeks, I've been playing with my '82. The factory stripes/decals had gone missing long before I got it and I had never been able source them. I did finally find them, Jamesdeancreations.com, and got them installed this morning. Luckily, for a first time DIY, the original paint is scruffy enough to where my small mistakes actually look right. I'll never get enough of the 80's... "Oh what a feeling!"
