It took me forever but I was able to install the SOS lower 2in front / 3.5in rear kit on my tacoma!! I wanted to share pictures :)

I also put on 2inch wheel spacers which is a little too much.

    I can’t say I’ve seen many people lower a 4WD truck.
But hey, props to for making that truck unique:thumbsup:

    Looks good.

Maybe add some wheels down the road:confused:

    few things here and there.
Reminds me of a guy I used to know named Sergio. Literally always had the coolest lowered trucks, including a 2nd Gen!

With any mods… as long as YOU love it, that’s all that matters. Whatever keeps you happy in that Taco!

    Enjoy, friend!!

It does look pretty good that way, but it will compromise function, just the opposite of how a lift compromises function. I still don't understand why no one here seems to be happy with stock ride height. Up down, whatever. Just gotta change something, I guess. LOL.

When you have some time, you might consider looking at your inner CV boots and make sure the fins on them arent rubbing. When i lowered my 4wd 2013 with the same SOS kit, the inner boots started to rub. I cut off the original toyota clamp, and slid the boots over a little and added a hose clamp. Probably best to do this sooner than later so you dont ruin your boots potentially. I think some call this the "boot slide mod" here on TW if you need more info on it

Looks great! Would love to do this to my PreRunner. Curious why you said it took forever. Was it mechanically difficult, just time consuming, other reasons? Do you notice a significant improvement in handling?
