    hey whats up my name is josh i just joined i do not have a truck yet but im looking i was wondering what is better 4 cyl, or 6 cyl for about a 98 model tacoma because thats about the truck im hopeing for and if anyone could i could use any kind of info on them this will be my first toyota

    Welcome To TW. Lots of great people and info here. I can't help you with your '98 choice between a 4 and 6 cylinder. My only experience is with my 08 V6 4WD. I'm sure others will ring in. Good luck with finding your truck!

    depends on what you're going to use it for. If it's just going to be a daily driver, without too much towing or hauling, go for the I4. Youll save on gas

    But if you haul or tow (Or have some extra $$ for some extra power) grab the V6. Both are very dependable engines
