I have a question that I couldn't find an answer when I was searching....Has anyone installed or heard of installing shields on the fog light bulbs like you would in the headlights for an HID bulb.

I just completed the retro fit on my truck and wanted to fix the glare from the foglights.

    Any help is appreciated.

Well the fogs do not need a shield. If you look at the filament on a stok bulb, you can see that there is no shield on it anyways. The fog housing was designed to fully light up.

Yeah I understand all of that, I am trying to find a solution for the glare of the foglights without losing the hid themselves. Just looking for a way to help reduce the upwards reflection. Thanks though.

nah, not taking them out, lol. I know you won't like this Yosh but just going to have to keep the fogs the way they are until I can find a better solution to eliminating (or reducing greatly) the glare. I have at least done the retro so you can't even gripe :)

    Thanks for the input guys!
